ABOUT AKRON: Miami college basketball team travels to Akron, Ohio, to face the Akron Zips on Thursday, Jan. 26 in an East Division battle, the second East Division game for each team. Akron had a seven-game win streak snapped by Ohio on Tuesday night as it fell to the Bobcats 66-63 in Athens. It was the Zips' first MAC loss of the season. Akron is led by Romeo Travis, who averages a team-best 14.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg. Travis is accompanied by Nick Dials, who is averaging 10.6 ppg, and Dru Joyce, who averages 10.1 ppg and 5.2 apg.
